Michelle Bridges ( Biggest Loser)

Michelle Bridges, Biggest loser personal trainer of the Red Team, is seeking information about her team members:

Because Michelle works very close with her team members, she will find out alot about them behaviourally. She can conduct various experiments to help her gain a better understanding of each individual, such as different routines and fitness reigemes and see how they repond ( either positively or negatively) to the tests and their respose rates. Will they adapt to the routines or struggle?

  1. Very interesting. She will indeed gain a lot of information about their weaknesses and strenghts and then adapt to differnent methods. Will each persons response to the exoeriment vary across the subjects?

  2. Most definitely! Each individual has different behavioural instincts, how they respond to various situations. These experiments will inform Michelle of that and will show her which path she has to go in for each team member.

  3. This makes perfect sense as your experiments are done thoroughly. What are some of the limitations that Michelle Bridges would have to take in?

  4. Well, one limitation that can effect the the entire team is time. Michelle has only so much time to conduct these experiments and there are quite abit of team members to study individually. So the main limitation is time.

  5. From the cognitive perspective Michele Bridges could conduct tests, to find out how they think about problems, and how they would solve them. she could also find out about how they remember things. lastly she could do multiple intellegence tests on them, to find out what there intrests are, so then she can do training based arround their intrests, so then they will stay focused.

  6. Sociocultural theory is a theory in psychology that looks at the contributions that society makes to individual development.

This theory focuses mainly on the connection between developing people and the culture in which they live.

  7. From the biological perspective, the contestants' previous health and possible, inherited diseases can be valuable information to Michelle as they may affect the team's ability to exercise. She could also conduct surveys to see whether the extreme workouts and strict lifestyle is affecting their mental stability.
